| | Loose Item Property is stolen from a motor vehicle. | CD's, Clothes, Books, Purse and contents, Money, Garage Door Opener, etc. |
| | Vehicle parts or accessories stolen from a vehicle (must be attached to the vehicle at the time of the theft). | Tires/Wheels, tailgate, tail light\head light covers, motor parts, emblem, speakers, amplifier, stereo, siphoned gas, etc. |
| | Property stolen from an OPEN residential garage (attached or detached) or residential storage building/shed, no suspect present. Motor Vehicle stolen from an open garage can NOT be reported online, you must call AECC at 806-378-3038 to report the stolen motor vehicle. | Tools, Bicycle, Yard Equipment, Golf Clubs, etc. |
| | Unauthorized use of Credit Card (using the actual card or just the card number). You must live within the Amarillo city limits to report this to the Amarillo PD. | Charges made on a credit card. |

| | Unauthorized use of Debit Card (using the actual card or just the card number). You must live within the Amarillo city limits to report this to the Amarillo PD. | Money withdrawn from an ATM. Merchandise purchased. Cash received from a merchant without making a purchase. |
| | Forge another persons signature. Do NOT report prescription forgeries online, you will need to call the Amarillo Police Department at 806-378-3038 to report this crime. | Checks, money orders-financial instrument, Contract-other, etc. |
| | Intent to VERBALLY harass, annoy, alarm, torment, or embarrass an individual (this does not include when any type of object is used or displayed in a threatening manner). Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature (includes text messaging). | Repeated hang-ups, obscene language, verbal threats of assaults, etc. |
| | Obtaining someone else's personal identifying information and using it to obtain credit, goods, services, or IRS refunds. You must live within the Amarillo city limits to report this to the Amarillo PD. | IRS Refund Fraud. Someone obtains a credit card using your social security number or obtains phone service using your personal information. |
| | Did not exchange child(ren) at stated time per court order. Must have court order to file report online. Child(ren) cannot be in any danger to file this report online. You MUST live within the Amarillo city limits or the offense MUST have occurred within the Amarillo city limits (Potter/Randall County) to file this report with the Amarillo PD. | Child(ren) are to be exchanged at a stated time per the court order and was not done. |

| | Touched against your will, & the weapon being hands, feet, or teeth, resulting in no photographable injuries. If this is Family Violence then you will need to call the Amarillo Police Dept at 806-378-3038, do not report this online. | Slapped, pushed, grabbed and moved out of the way, poked in the chest, etc. |
| | Your property is taken without your permission. A STOLEN VEHICLE CANNOT BE REPORTED ONLINE. Structure(s) entered without permission is a Burglary and cannot be reported online, with the exception of Burglary from an open garage, all other Burglaries will require you to call the Amarillo Police Department at 806-378-3038 to report these crimes. | Lawn ornaments, bicycle from yard, purse from shopping cart, taking property from a building/residence by someone that had permission to be there and took property without owners permission. Business gas drive offs and beer runs. Theft of Mail from mailbox or porch. Scams (Lost property is not a theft) |
