Citizen\'s Online Reporting System

There are several different incident types that can be entered using the internet. Please select one from the list below and continue. If the incident you are reporting has a known suspect or involves a weapon, you should call 303-277-0211.

  Entering a building or structure unlawfully with intent to steal property.Property removed from a locked or unlocked home or business.
  Property is stolen from a motor vehicle.Stolen equipment or belongings from a vehicle.
  If someone damaged property that either you own or that your company owns and it is valued at less than $2000.Someone breaks a window on your property. Someone scratches your car with a key, or breaks out a headlight.
  Obtaining another person's personal identifying Information and using it to fraudulently obtain credit, goods or services. If you have lost yor credit card/checkbook/ATM card or if someone has stolen the cards, card number, or checks and used them, then file your report using the "lost of Stolen Checks/Credit Cards/ATM Cards" Incident type below.Someone uses your S.S.N. and other identifying information to fraudulently open a credit card account or opens a new cell phone plan without your permission.
  Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature.

 *****WITH NO KNOWN SUSPECTS** If suspect information is known you cannot file an online report. 

Immediate hang-ups, obscene language, etc. with no known suspects.
  An unknown person has dumped rubbish, waste material, refuse, garbage, trash, debris or other foreign substances onto your property.An unknown person has dumped rubbish, waste material, refuse, garbage, trash, debris or other foreign substances onto your property.
  Someone obtains another person's checks/credit cards/ATM cards without the owner's consent. This report also includes if your credit card # was stolen and not the physical card. This can occur either by finding the lost cards and using them or stealing them or their numbers for fraudulent usage.Someone obtains your credit card or checks, either by finding them or stealing them, and then uses them to make fraudulent purchases. Someone steals your credit card number and uses it to make fraudulent purchases.

  When property is missing or lost.Property that is missing, leaving items in restaurant, or missing from home.
  Receiving phone calls from unknown an unknown person that is wanting money for some fraudulent scheme. Jefferson County Sheriff's Office also request that you go to the F.B.I's fraud website at www.ic3.gov and the IRS website www.tigta.gov to complete their on line report.Phone call from a lottery you did not play, won a "free vacation" just pay shipping and handling, "too good to be true".
  Your property is taken without your permission.Property known to be stolen and missing may be reported. Lost property is not a theft.
  Parts from a vehicle are stolen (does not include license plates)Theft of a bumper from a car.
  Taking possession of a bicycle that do not belong to you.Someone intentionally take possession of your bicycle.

  Mail theft occurs when someone steal mail that is not their own from a residential mailbox, postal trucks, collection boxes, apartment mailbox panels, co-op mailing racks, and neighborhood delivery and collection box units.Someone intentionally take mail from a mailbox that did not belong to them.
  Your package was stolen. Your package was taken from where it was delivered. For example, the delivery company placed it on the front porch and now it is gone.
  Your property is taken without your permission.Property known to be stolen and missing may be reported. Lost property is not a theft.
  The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property.Knocking over mail box, throwing rock through windows, egging house, etc.
