Citizen\'s Online Reporting System
There are several different incident types that can be entered using the internet. Please select one from the list below and continue. If the incident you are reporting has a known suspect, you should instead call us.

  Information on suspected criminal activity that has occurred or may occur at a future date. Witnessing an assault, suspecting narcotics activity at a specific location, observing gang or graffiti activity.
  Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature with no suspect description.Immediate hang-ups, obscene language, etc. with no known suspects.
  A driver of a vehicle leaves the scene of a traffic accident without providing required license, insurance or vehicle information. You have no information which could help identify the driver, and there are no injuries.You discover damage on your unattended vehicle or property, caused by a collision with another vehicle. There are no witnesses to the incident nor notes left on your car/property, or the car left without leaving identifying information.
  Obtaining someone else's personal identifying information and using it to obtain credit, goods or services. Financial loss under $10,000 and with no suspect informationSomeone obtains a credit card using your Social Security number or obtains phone service using your personal information.
  When property is missing, left behind or lost.You lose property belonging to you such as leaving items at a restaurant, misplace items while shopping, or discover items missing from home. Firearms and vehicle license plate(s) cannot be reported lost through this E-Reporting system.
  Your property is taken without your permission. **TOTAL LOSS MUST BE UNDER $7,500** A bicycle is stolen from in front of your home or your cell phone is taken from your unattended purse. Property lost is not a theft, and should be reported under that E-Reporting classification. Certain types of theft reports cannot be taken through this E-Reporting system. We cannot accept: Thefts from your person (pickpocketing, purse snatches, and robberies by force or fear), thefts by breaking into a building (burglary of your residence or business), theft of your car or its license plate(s), theft of firearms, identity thefts, or if you know or have information on who stole your property. These reports must be taken in person. Call 650-780-7100 to have an officer respond for a report. If the theft was from inside your locked car, you must file the report under the E-Reporting title "Theft from a vehicle."
   Property is stolen from inside a motor vehicle, locked or unlocked, with no suspect description.You discover someone has smashed out the passenger window of your locked vehicle and stolen your GPS device. If the property taken included firearms you cannot use this E-Reporting system.
  The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property with no suspect description.Graffiti, knocking over mail box, throwing rock through a window, etc. If graffiti or vandalism contains a threat of violence or can be classified as a hate crime, please call the Redwood Police Department at (650) 780-7100 to have an officer respond for a report.
  Tampering with a Motor vehicle.Keying vehicle paint, broken windows, or attempts to remove parts. **If parts were stolen from the vehicle, report as a THEFT FROM A VEHICLE**
