Intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly taking an action that mistreats or kills any animal without just cause, such as torturing, tormenting, mutilation, maiming, poisoning, or abandonment. Included are instances of duty to provide care, e.g., shelter, food, water, care if sick or injured; transporting or confining an animal in a manner likely to cause injury or death; causing an animal to fight with another; inflicting excessive or repeated unnecessary pain or suffering, e.g., uses objects to beat or injure an animal. This definition does not include proper maintenance of animals for show sport; use of animals for food, lawful hunting, fishing or trapping.

Illegal dumping is the improper disposal of waste at any location other than a permitted landfill or facility; illegal dumping poses a threat the environment. Illegal dumping usually happens in open areas, along roadsides, in wooded areas and even in parks, and frequently occurs late at night. The waste primarily is non-hazardous material that is dumped to avoid disposal fees and often consists of building material, old discarded appliances, etc.

If someone is illegally dumping junk, trash or refuse at a location, you may report it using this system. Please be as descriptive as possible and include the type of material or junk being dumped, the dates and times the dumping is believed to be occurring, any suspect vehicle information to include make, model, color, type of vehicle or registration plate information if known.
