Bicycle Theft	When a Bicycle is taken without your permission. This does not include someone physically taking something from your person.	Bicycle stolen from your yard, driveway, porch or other common shared areas such as garages or laundry facilities of apartment complexes.
Fraud	The use of deception, typically to gain a monetary benefit.	Phone scams asking a person to send a check, money order or financial information; receiving an unsolicited check and being asked to deposit it, and then return a portion of the funds to the sender; being told the person has won the Lotto or other prize, and being asked to send a check to cover taxes; receiving an accusatory phone call from someone (claiming to be from the IRS, police, US Marshall), and demanding immediate payment (on an outstanding debt) threatening arrest or some other form of enforcement if the payment is not made immediately.
Graffiti	Graffiti to property	Graffiti to property without suspect information.
Harassing Phone Calls	Annoying telephone calls.	Unwanted, reoccurring telephone calls without suspect information.
Hit and Run No Suspect	Damage to vehicle by another vehicle. Second vehicle left scene without providing identifying information.	Unknown person hit your vehicle and left the scene without providing their name and contact information.
Lost Property	Property lost within city limits of Bellingham.	Lost property unknown time or day but somewhere within city limits of Bellingham.
Malicious Mischief	Vandalism to property.	Damage to property without suspect information.
Theft	When property is taken without your permission. This does not include someone physically taking something from your person. If the theft occurred from inside of a dwelling, fenced in area, or an enclosed garage, shed or storage area, please contact Bellingham Police directly and do not file your report online. For any theft of a motor vehicle or a firearm, please contact Bellingham Police directly. Vehicle Prowl	Property is stolen from inside a motor vehicle.	Stolen equipment or belongings from inside a vehicle.
