Incident Type

There are several different incident types that can be entered using the internet. Please select one from the list below and continue. If the incident you are reporting has a known suspect, you should instead call us.

  Burglary SupplementUse this feature only if you have already filed a report with a Pawtucket police officer and you have his name and report number available. This section allows you to enter additional property that you have discovered to have been stolen.
  The fraudulent use of a credit card. Someone obtained a credit card in your name or used your credit card without authorization.
  Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature.If you have been the victim of harassing calls and do NOT know the person who is calling, you can use this system to make a report.

After completing your report, please contact your phone service provider (as noted on your telephone bill) with the report number you receive at the end of this process. Follow your phone service provider's instructions and keep track of when calls occur and the caller's phone number (if you have caller ID).
  Leaving the scene of a property damage only accident without providing required license, insurance or vehicle information.Damage caused to your vehicle by another vehicle in which the driver should have left information or fled the scene without stopping to exchange information and there are no serious injuries and the vehicles are not disabled.
  Someone struck your unattended vehicle and left the scene without providing required license, insurance or vehicle information.Insurance purpose / damage only. Does not include vehicles occupied at time of accident or involving injuries.
  Obtaining someone else's personal identifying information and using it to obtain credit, goods or services.Includes persons using your identity to obtain services such as cable, phone, electric, gas, jobs, social security, state or federal assistance or any other service using your identity.
  When property is missing or lost.Includes wallets, purses, credit cards, license cards, identification cards, passports, birth certificates, cell phones, or any article that you have misplaced or lost. Does not include registration plates.
  A traffic collision with no injuries; also called a motor vehicle collision among other terms, occurs when a vehicle collides with another vehicle, pedestrian, animal, road debris, or other stationary obstruction, such as a tree, pole or building. Before starting please make sure you have your car and driver's license information and the other divers car and driver's license information if another car was involved. A vehicle accident with damage to vehicles or property.
Your are involved in an accident where there is damage to your car but no one is injured or requires medical attention.
ALL parties have exchanged information or are known.
  Your property is taken without your permission. Total property value must be under $1,500.00.Includes bicycles, yard tools, lawn ornaments, or any other article taken under the value of $1,500. Does not include incidents where the item stolen was from inside a home, garage or shed that was broken into or illegally entered by the thief in order to steal the item. Stolen prescription medicine CANNOT be filed online.
  Property is stolen from a motor vehicle. Total property value must be under $1,500.00.Includes any article left stored in the vehicle such as back packs, gps system, lap tops, wallets, purses, packages etc. Also includes items physically attached to the vehicle such as stereo and television equipment, car tires, car parts, etc. Does not include registration plates. Stolen prescription medicine CANNOT be filed online.
  Your mail or package is taken without your permission.Includes items delivered to your home by any delivery service including USPS, UPS, FEDEX, DHL.
  The theft of vehicle parts. Includes items physically attached to the vehicle such as stereo and television equipment attached to vehicle, car tires, car parts. INCLUDES ALL GPS & SATELLITE RADIO SYSTEMS STOLEN FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE. Does not include registration plates.
  The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property.Includes graffiti, paint ball, gutters, mail box or siding. We encourage a photo be down loaded into report of damage, especially graffiti. Does not include damage in an attempt to gain entry into a home.
  Damage to a motor vehicle.Includes any damage that was caused to a vehicle. Examples include a broken windshield, graffiti, bent antenna, etc.
