Incident Type

There are several different incident types that can be entered using the internet. Please select one from the list below and continue. If the incident you are reporting has a known suspect, you should instead call us.
Incident TypeDefinitionExamples
  Information that you would like the police department to know. The citizen wants to report a dog barking.
  Someone uses your actual debit card or credit card without your consent. If the person used the number but you still have the physical card please use Identity Theft. Someone uses your credit card to make online transactions.
  Malicious mischief or damage done to property or vehicle. Someone has vandalized the property or vehicle owned by the reporting party.
  Someone falsely makes or alters a written instrument to affect a legal right. Used by citizen wanting to report that legal document or financial instrument has been forged.
  Leaving the scene of an accident without providing required license, insurance or vehicle information.Damage caused by another vehicle in which the driver should have left information or fled the scene without stopping to exchange information.
  When someone has used your name or other identifying information for financial gain without your permission. If they used the actual credit card then use Credit Card Abuse to report your incident. Someone has used your identifying information to open or modify accounts without your permission.
  Information that you would like the police department to know. Used by an asset recovery business to notify the PD when they have repossessed property (vehicles and boats typically). Also includes a tow of a vehicle authorized by the owner of a parking facility (for example, an apartment building parking lot, restaurant parking lot, paid parking lot) without the consent of the owner or operator of the vehicle.
  You are a business owner/manager reporting a shoplifting event that occurred previously. Goods have been taken from a business without being purchased.
  When property is taken without your permission. This does not include someone physically taking something from your person.

When property is taken without your permission from you vehicle.

Items stolen from your yard, vehicle, driveway, porch or other common shared areas such as garages or laundry facilities of apartment complexes
  Property is stolen from a motor vehicle.Stolen equipment or belongings from a vehicle.
  Request for an increased police patrol of your home while you are on vacation.

House Watch is not for homes that are for sale, abandoned or in foreclosure. Please list any persons or vehicles likely to be encountered in the narrative portion of this request.

Used to notify the police department that a location requests extra patrols while the owner is away.
