Incident Type

There are several different incident types that can be entered using the internet. Please select one from the list below and continue. If the incident you are reporting does not meet the criteria listed, please contact us directly by phone or in person.

  Register your home or business surveillance cameras with the Sheriff's Office.You have added surveillance cameras to your home or business, and you would like to register them with the Sheriff's Office.
  Your check has been counterfeited or altered by changing the amount of the check to something that you did not authorize of by changing the payee of the check to something/someone you did not authorize.You mailed in a check to pay for a service. When your check cleared, you noticed that the amount was increased and the payee was different than what you made the check out for.
  When an unknown person fraudulently used a credit card or credit card account number to obtain property or any thing of value without the permission of the account holder, bank, or organization who issued the credit card or person whose name is on the credit card.Any credit card or credit card account number issued by a bank or organization in your name that was fraudulently used by an unknown person to obtain money, property, goods, services, or a thing of value.
  Obtaining someone else's personal identifying information and using it to obtain credit, goods or services. Stealing your identity.

When an unknown person without your permission or consent falsely makes, forges, alters, or counterfeits a public record or document, wills, deeds, bonds, applications, or checks.

Someone obtains a credit card using your Social Security Number or obtains other services using your personal information (Ex.) opening a bank account, new phone service, etc.

Any public record or document, notary public, applications for employment, bank or credit accounts, checks, wills, deeds, or loan applications, where an unknown person forged your signature to obtain money, goods or services.

  The dumping of waste or construction materials on public or private property. If hazardous materials are involved, you must call 239-477-1000 for a deputy to respond to the scene. Household trash, tires, construction materials under 500lbs.
  When property is missing or lost. THIS FORM MAY NOT BE USED TO REPORT A LOST PASSPORT,FIREARM or MEDICINE. If you have found an item that you previously reported as lost you must call the Communications Center at 239-477-1000.Property that is left behind such as cell phones, purses, or any other personal items.
  When vehicle license plate or decal is missing, stolen or lost. If you have found an item that you previously reported as lost you must call the Communications Center at 239-477-1000.Your license plate and/or decal is missing from your vehicle.
  A theft of personal property with a value of under $750 that was not stolen from within a vehicle, residence, or structure of any kind. Your child left their bike valued at $250 in your front yard overnight. When you wake up in the morning you find the bike has been stolen from the front yard.
  A scammer contacts you online or by phone in an attempt to cheat you out of your money over the phone or online.A scammer contacts you online or by phone in an attempt to cheat you out of your money over the phone or online.
  Taking possession of a package or its contents, outside of a residence, where it has been commercially delivered or has been left for commercial pickup, with intent to deprive the rightful owner of the contents.A package is recently delivered to your home and some one takes it from your porch.

  Request for a Watch Order of your occupied residence. This Watch Order will request an increase in police patrols in your area, while you are away. The maximum time period for a Watch Order is six months.A watch request can be completed if you are on vacation and you have concerns of possible burglaries, thefts, vandalism, etc.
