Abandoned Vehicle	Vehicle not known to the area left on the street for over 24 hours.	Vehicle not known to the area left on the street for over 24 hours.
Annoying/Harassing Phone calls	***DO NOT USE THIS TO FILE VIOLATIONS OF RESTRAINING ORDERS***Every person with the intent to annoy or harass telephones or makes contact by means of an electronic communication device.	Caller uses obscene language or makes any threat to inflict injury to the person or their property or makes repeated calls or contact. Calls made in good faith or during the ordinary course and scope of business do not apply.
Barking Dog	A dog is barking to the point that it is annoying you or disrupting your activities.	A dog barking non-stop, a dog barking late at night, etc.
Check Fraud	Every person with the intent to defraud, falsely makes, alters, forges, or counterfeits, utters publishes, passes or attempts or offers to pass, as true and genuine, any check or money order, knowing the item to be false.	Counterfeit check or money order, fraudulant signature on same, and/or fraudulant account information on same.
Child Custody Violation	Willful disobedience of court ordered terms for CHILD CUSTODY VISITATION, lawfully issued by any court, including orders pending.	One or both parents or other legal guardians have failed to follow the court ordered visitation dates, days and/or times or other terms. PARENTAL ABDUCTION IS A SERIOUS CRIME AND CANNOT BE REPORTED ONLINE. IF YOU SUSPECT ABDUCTION OF YOUR CHILD, CALL 9-1-1 IMMEDIATELY. Falsely reporting a parental abduction is also a crime.
Found Property	Property you found and wish to report.	You located an item that you wish to turn over to police.
Fraudulent Use of A Credit Card	Unauthorized use of credit or debit card.	Unauthorized person makes purchase with your credit or debit card.
Hit and Run	Leaving the scene of an accident without providing required license, insurance or vehicle information.	Damage caused by another vehicle in which the driver should have left information or fled the scene without stopping to exchange information.
Identity Theft	Obtaining someone else's personal identifying information and using it to obtain credit, goods or services. Do not use this unless your personal information has been used. If you do not describe how your information was used, your report will be rejected.	Forms of fraud which include opening bank accounts, applying for credit cards, loans, and social security benefits, establishing services with utility and phone companies. If you lost your wallet or purse but no one has used any of your credit cards or checks, please file under Lost Property. Identity theft does not occur until the items are used.
Illegal Dumping	Unlawful dumping of property/trash.	Trash and/or garbage dumped illegally.
Littering	Littering of trash	Littering of trash
Lost or Stolen License Plate	Lost or Stolen License Plate.	You notice your license plate is no longer there.
Lost Property	When property is missing or lost.	Lost items can include things like cell phones, passports, wallets or purses.
Non Injury Traffic Collision	Traffic collision where there were no injuries.	Accident between two or more vehicles in which no injuries occurred.
Supplemental Report	Add information to an already existing report. Please make sure you have the report number for the report you originally filed.	You have additional property that you have discovered missing or information regarding the report you have already filed.
Theft	When property is taken without your permission. This does not include someone physically taking something from your person.To report stolen vehicles or firearms please call the Banning Police Department.	Items stolen from your yard, driveway, porch or other common shared areas such as garages or laundry facilities of apartment complexes.
Theft from Vehicle	Property is stolen from a motor vehicle.	Stolen equipment or belongings from a vehicle.
Vandalism	The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property. If you have been the victim of an incident involving graffiti, please file your report using the graffiti incident listed above.	Knocking over mail box, throwing rock through windows, etc.
Vehicle Tampering	Tampering with a Motor vehicle.	Keying, broken windows, or attempts to remove parts.
